  • Yoga, barre, and Pilates are all popular forms of exercise that focus on strength, flexibility, and body awareness, but they each have distinct characteristics. Yoga combines physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation to promote physical and mental well-being. It emphasizes flexibility, balance, and relaxation.

    Barre workouts incorporate ballet-inspired movements, utilizing a ballet barre for support. They often involve small, repetitive movements, targeting specific muscle groups to build strength and improve posture.

    Pilates, on the other hand, focuses on core strength, stability, and alignment through controlled movements and proper breathing techniques. It involves exercises performed on a mat.

    While all three practices offer unique benefits, yoga emphasizes holistic wellness, barre emphasizes toning and sculpting, and Pilates emphasizes core strength and stability.

  • The practice of yoga is a work in, it creates flexibility of the mind. The body becomes flexible over time with repetition as you become more comfortable and familiar with the movements. These classes are taught at an accessible level suitable for everybody.

  • Absolutely!

  • We recommend bringing along a bottle of water and a small towel. In cooler weather, it is advisable to layer - adding socks and jumpers for relaxation for yoga. Please also bring a mat if you own one, some mats are available for use at the studio.
